In addition to the plain truth that mental retardation problems do major harm to the kid, a successful campaign should contain aspects of awareness raising, intervention approaches, and prevention measures. Mental retardation in children frequently results in permanent disability.
It also includes basic statistics and information on children's mental health to demonstrate the scope of the problem, based on the fundamental assumption that increased awareness of mental and physical disability issues will also work to increase awareness of the need for better prevention and intervention mechanisms.
